Sarah Millican is a record-breaker after the announcement of a tenth night of Thoroughly Modern Millican here at The Journal Tyne Theatre. No one is more surprised than the unassuming Sarah Millican herself.

“It’s ridiculous isn’t it,” she laughs, chatting to The Evening Chronicle's Gordon Barr. “I just thought it was clearly something some people had done but I’m pleased to find out it is a record. I’m just pointlessly adding more dates to my record, just to make it hard to beat,” she jokes.
